Dennis Price, affectionally referred to as "Animal", is the staff photographer at The Los Angeles Tribune.
Twenty six years old, with very long black hair pulled back into a ponytail, he is a consummate slob in everything except his work. At home, for example, there are times when he can't find his bed because of the chaos of books, clothes, old oranges peels and magazines. But no one could perform brain surgery in his darkroom without risk of infection.
His photographs are Pulitzer Prize quality, and in fact, he has won a number of awards.
